Dr. Amy Harms appointed to Kohler School Board

Dr. Amy Harms was appointed to Kohler School Board during its September 14 school board meeting.

Harms grew up in Kohler and is a 1996 graduate of Kohler Schools. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she received both her Bachelor’s degree in Child Development & Public Health and her medical degree. She joined Sheboygan Pediatric Associates in August 2014, and moved back to the Village where she resides with her husband and three kids.

Harms said she has always been impressed by the abundance of extra-curricular offerings available to Kohler students. She said that while Kohler has always had an excellent academic record, she would like to offer her training to help with the mental health component needed by students, especially as they transition from high school to college and adulthood.
